I have been a graphic designer for decades and love to grow and learn more as the industry changes. For example, I began my career as a magazine production artist and typesetter, and progressed to become art director for an international fitness publication. At some point along the way I became passionate about motion graphics, leading me to graduate Summa cum laude with a BFA in Multimedia in 2008. For the past 18 years, I have been a freelance designer. My broad skill set includes: print and web design, motion graphics and video post-production.
While freelancing, I have also been on paid staff as Visual Communications Manager at Landmark Tabernacle Church since 2010. Landmark is a large community-minded organization. I am directly involved in developing and communicating our public image. I am responsible for design and production of most communication and marketing pieces including: print collateral, training materials, event graphics, web design and maintenance, large format advertising, direct mail, screen printing and embroidery, video advertising, and social media. I am also the primary event photographer.
When not working or involved in academics, I enjoy taking road trips with my camera, hiking, camping, and oil painting. I’m high-spirited, young-hearted and always looking for life’s next adventure. You can see examples of my print design work on this site. For video editing and motion graphics please visit: http://www.cmotiondenver.com
